A seven day tour of the northern coastal regions of NSW. Also included are a specially arranged breakfast cruise on the Hastings River at Port Macquarie and a special one-way voyage from Brooklyn on the Hawkesbury River to Berowra Waters.

Southerly Insights

Cooma, Tumut, Adelong, Pambula, Snowy Mountains and Jervis Bay.

Southerly Insights is our next tour in the Petite Insights category.

You will experience the diversity of  southern NSW as we travel from Wollongong to the foothills of the Snowy Moutains at Tumut. We’ll enjoy a full day touring many interesting sites in the Tumut, Batlow and Tumbarumba region. Then we’ll cross the Snowy Mountains to Cooma before descending to the coast at Pambula. Completing our circular tour route will include visits to Bega, Mogo, Jervis Bay and Berry.

Travelling in a very comfortable full size coach we’ll visit the Snowy Mountains including easy-access Yarrangobilly Caves, Tumut broom factory, an African Violet farm, the Australian Pioneer Women’s Museum, Yarrangobilly Caves, an oyster farm tour near Pambula, and a cruise on magnificent Jervis Bay.

As with all our tours; fully escorted, all meals, all touring and entries are included.

Outback South Australia by Air

A truly unique tour travelling by chartered aircraft. Departing from Wollongong NSW with just 5 guests. Experiences range from a chartered private carriage on the Pichi Richi Railway’s Afghan Express from Quorn to Port Augusta; Smoky Bay oyster farm, private tour of Lake MacDonnell gypsum mine, Maralinga, the tiny town of Forrest WA (pop.2), Flinder’s Island and Kangaroo Island with your own private cook and of course… a bird’s eye view of some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Australia!

Islands of Tasmania

This is a 7 day tour by luxury chartered aircraft visiting 5 of the Tasmanian islands: Flinders, King, Maria, Bruny and Sarah. We spend 2 nights on each of the Bass Strait islands of King and Flinders and we have comprehensive guided sightseeing throughout the tour. You’ll see the contrasts between the islands: seaweed harvesting, a 7000 year old calcified forest, penguins, a former Tasmanian aboriginal mission, the renown King Island Dairy, former penal colony and the resupply port for French and English sailors as well as the site of Australia’s worst maritime accident.

We fly in a Cessna Caravan aircraft which is certified as one the safest single engine aeroplanes. Its equipped with 6 passenger seats so everyone has a window seat and we fly at altitudes which afford the best views commensurate with safety and operational requirements.

Northern NSW by Train

This is the chartered railcar which we will travel on during this tour.

A 7 day tour of Northern NSW featuring relaxing train travel aboard a chartered, spacious railcar. Our accompanying coach will facilitate insightful touring of inland northern NSW.  A few highlights: the bluestone, university city of Armidale and its esteemed art gallery, the Big Guitar at Tamworth, Uralla’s bushranger museum, Mendooran’s Black Gate Distillery, a working emu farm, Warrumbungle National Park, historic Greta in the Hunter Valley, the convict built Great North Road and a beautiful luncheon cruise on the Brisbane Water at Gosford.

Patagonian Insights

A trip of a lifetime taking in the very best of Patagonia with an option to extend for 7 days in Antarctica.

Travelling in a small group of like-minded travellers you will experience the Tren Patagonica – the once-weekly train from Viedma to San Carlos de Bariloche at the foothills of the Andes, green Patagonia in Chile, cruise from Ushuaia to Puntas Arenas on board the 4 night Australis cruise and if you choose to extend the tour for a 5 night cruise in Antarctica: – flights to and from Antartica – no rough sea passages on this tour – for 5 extraordinary days cruising the Antarctic Peninsula.

Mountains and Valleys

Mountains and Valleys features 3 nights accommodation at one place and our customary insightful touring. In the glorious season of spring we will see gardens at Mt Tomah, Oberon and Blackheath as well as history, heritage and spectacular scenery. Our touring includes the spectacular Capertee Valley, historic Hartley, and picturesque Rylstone. Mountains and Valleys is all-inclusive, fully escorted, travels by private mini-coach and has a maximum of 15 guests.
